Donner accès à l’eau grâce à l’innovation technologique

01 June - 20 July 2023

The Jean-Félicien Gacha Foundation announces the launch of a unique and visionary project to meet the water needs of communities by installing machines that transform air into drinking water.

Inspired by a future project to build a water farm in the village of Maka in partnership with Aquavera, the Jean-Félicien Gacha Foundation has equipped itself with these innovative machines, which capture water particles in the air and transform them into drinking water through the condensation process.

To meet the water needs of its partners and communities, the Foundation has installed one of these machines at Bangwa Hospital. Bangwa Hospital was a partner in the project co-organized with the Dexeus Foundation, which enabled the intervention of gynecologists in the Bangangté region of West Cameroon in February 2023.

In 24 hours, 24 liters of water were collected at the Foundation. Employees from the Foundation and the Bangwa hospital were trained on site to distribute and maintain the machines.
