The Espace Culturel Gacha is the initiative of the series of exhibitions “heritages” which reveals the fruit of knowledge woven with curiosity in the workshops of the Gacha Foundation, between the old techniques and movements of today’s creators. The first stage of Heritages is held in Senegal, on the 13th Dakar Biennale, as part of the “Bridges” course organized by the Museum of Photography St. Louis. A selection of works by artists from the Foundation or who have resided as resident artists Is presented. They all take the Ndop ceremonial fabric as inspiration
