The Jean-Félicien Gacha foundation
welcomes you on its website

You’ll find information about the activities and news of the Jean-Félicien Gacha foundation, whose President is Ly Dumas.
The photo galleries and videos show images of the work of the foundation which operates in Cameroon.
The JFG foundation:
- On the Boutanga hill, some 1500m above sea level, we built a Cultural Centre for Exchange and Apprenticeship.
- On the hill to the right, is our maternity unit, renovated in 2004 by the foundation. Hundreds of babies have been born here.
- On the plains, the village of Bangoulap spreads towards the kingdom’s palace. Our first General Assembly took place in the Council room in the presence of our King, His Majesty Jean-Marie Yonkeu. Since then, our general assemblies take place every year at the Foundation itself.
- Bangangté, a township of 20,000 inhabitants, is home to Montagnes University, where the foundation donated a dental surgery.
- Maka is a small village by the River Noun. It’s another place where the foundation is active, where we built both elementary and nursery schools.
- The foundation also offers various grants for scholarships and training upon application. A graduate from top University ENS, an English teacher, a nursery school teacher, a seamstress and a beautician have all benefitted from these grants.
Ly Dumas and the supporters of the foundation have created this charitable structure to pursue the works of Jean-Félicien Gacha (1922-1972) and to put into practice his philosophy:
« You must help others, listen to them, respect them, heal them... and above all, love them ».
